PDMA Issues Heatwave Alert, Warning of Extreme Temperatures Across Punjab


Islamabad: Punjab Disaster Management Authority has issued a heatwave alert, warning of extreme temperatures across the province.



According to Radio Pakistan, a spokesman of the authority stated that the temperature in Southern Punjab areas is expected to remain six to eight degrees centigrade higher than usual. Meanwhile, in Upper Punjab areas, temperatures are anticipated to be four to six degrees centigrade higher than normal. This weather condition is predicted to last from tomorrow until the 18th of this month.
