Pakistan won four medals in the ongoing Special Olympics World Games in Berlin.
Pakistan’s Saifullah Solangi won two gold medals in powerlifting.
He lifted 90 kg in back Squat, another gold medal in the deadlift with a lift of 115 kg followed by a silver medal in the combined with a lift of 245 kg.
He also won a bronze medal in the 40 kg bench press.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated Saifullah Solangi for making records by winning four medals including two gold medals for Pakistan in Special Olympics in Germany.
In a tweet, he said it is an amazing news from Berlin about the young Pakistani, Saifullah Solangi, who has blazed the path for the rest of the contingent to follow.
