PM Praises Economic Team’s Preparation for Budget

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has praised the efforts of the government's economic team for the successful preparation and presentation of the federal budget. He stated that the preparation of a balanced, people-friendly, and growth-oriented budget under the prevailing economic conditions reflects the hard work, professional competence, and close coordination of the team.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister particularly commended the contributions of key figures such as Minister for Finance and Revenue Muhammad Aurangzeb, Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal, Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Cheema, Minister of State for Finance Bilal Azhar Kayani, Adviser to the Prime Minister Syed Tauqir Shah, Finance Secretary Imdad Ullah Bosal, Chairman Federal Board of Revenue Rashid Mahmood Langrial, as well as officers and experts from the Ministry of Finance, FBR, Planning Division, and other relevant institutions.

He emphasized that the economic team has crafted a budget with the national interest in mind, which is expected to aid in achieving objectives related to economic stability, fiscal discipline, investment promotion, and public welfare. The Prime Minister expressed confidence that the entire economic team would continue working with the same dedication and resolve for the country's economic growth and prosperity.
