Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will announce a package for overseas Pakistanis today aiming to address key concerns raised by the diaspora, with proposals submitted by expatriates set to be implemented. This announcement is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to engage with and support the overseas community.
According to Radio Pakistan, Chairman Overseas Pakistanis Foundation Syed Qamar Raza shared this information while speaking at the Overseas Pakistanis Convention being held in Islamabad. The Prime Minister is aware of the significance of the overseas community and acknowledges their contributions to the country.
A comprehensive 14-point agenda has been developed to address the main concerns of overseas Pakistanis. A high-level committee, led by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, has been tasked with working on these issues to ensure that the needs of the diaspora are met effectively.
