President and Prime Minister Extend Eid-ul-Fitr Greetings to the Nation

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have extended heartfelt congratulations to the entire nation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. In their separate messages, they emphasized the significance of the day in promoting mutual love, brotherhood, and social harmony. They reminded the nation to share happiness with the needy, orphans, and underprivileged sections of society, urging a strengthened sense of responsibility within the community.

According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari highlighted the necessity for a renewed commitment to national unity, the supremacy of the Constitution, and adherence to the law. He underscored that the development, stability, and prosperity of Pakistan are a collective responsibility.

In his message, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif noted that Eid-ul-Fitr refreshes the values of sacrifice, unity, service to humanity, and collective responsibility. He also highlighted the government's successful implementation of a digital wallet system during the holy month of Ramazan, aimed at providing financial assistance to the underprivileged with dignity.

Prime Minister Sharif expressed concern for the people of Gaza and other conflict-affected regions in the Middle East, and he reaffirmed Pakistan's prayers for global peace, security, and stability.
