Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have praised the security forces for their successful operations against terrorists in Balochistan. The leaders expressed appreciation for the neutralization of terrorist threats in the region, highlighting the importance of these actions for peace and development.
According to Radio Pakistan, the President and Prime Minister issued separate statements in which they condemned recent terrorist activities, emphasizing the necessity of continuing the fight against terrorism until it is fully eradicated from the country. They identified terrorists as adversaries to Balochistan’s progress and peace, reinforcing their commitment to combating these threats.
President Zardari specifically acknowledged the efforts of the security forces in eliminating 23 terrorists in various operations, including those in the areas of Kalat and Harnai. He lauded the bravery and dedication of the forces in maintaining security and order in the region.
Prime Minister Sharif echoed these sentiments, assuring that the entire nation stands united with its security forces in the ongoing battle against terrorism. He conveyed his support and solidarity with the forces, recognizing their critical role in safeguarding the nation.
Both leaders also extended prayers for the martyrs, asking for their ranks to be elevated and for their families to find patience and solace.
