President Calls for Expanding Pak-Sweden Ties in Renewable Energy and Technology

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has called for an expansion of Pakistan-Sweden cooperation in renewable energy, sustainable technologies, information technology, and agriculture. He discussed these initiatives with Ahmed Amjad Ali, the Ambassador-designate of Pakistan to Sweden, during a meeting at Aiwan-e-Sadr.

According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari emphasized the importance of enhancing parliamentary exchanges and leadership visits to further solidify bilateral ties. He congratulated Ambassador-designate Ahmed Amjad Ali on his new role and recognized the longstanding friendly relations between Pakistan and Sweden. The President also highlighted the shared views of both nations on multilateralism, a rules-based international order, human rights, and democracy, underscoring the significance of these areas in fostering mutual cooperation.
