Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has conferred military awards on the officers and soldiers of Pakistan Army, Navy, and Air Force.
According to Radio Pakistan, eleven officers and men were awarded Sitara-i-Basalat, while four hundred seventy-five were granted Tamgha-i-Basalat. Additionally, one hundred thirty officers and men received Imtiazi Asnad. The ceremony also saw three hundred seventy-eight officers and men being given Chief of Army Staff Commendation Cards. Furthermore, twenty-three officers and men were granted Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military), one hundred officers and men received Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military), and one hundred thirty-six were awarded Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military).
