President, PM Condemn Terrorist Attack in Balochistan


Mastung: Three personnel of Balochistan Constabulary were martyred and fourteen others injured in a bomb blast in Mastung district this morning.



According to Radio Pakistan, all injured have been shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta for treatment.



President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a vehicle of Balochistan Constabulary in the Shamsabad area of district Mastung in Balochistan. In their separate statements, they expressed deep grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of three personnel of Balochistan Constabulary. They prayed for higher ranks of the martyrs and the grant of fortitude to their families. They also prayed for the early recovery of the injured.



The President reiterated the resolve to continue efforts for the complete elimination of terrorism from the country. In his statement, the Prime Minister said nefarious designs of terrorists will be foiled. He vowed to continue the war till the complete elimination of terrorists from the country. The Prime Minister also directed to provide swift medical treatment to the injured.



Meanwhile, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, strongly condemning the blast, said elements involved in the blast would be dealt with iron hands.
