Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have expressed grief and sorrow over the death of Saudi Arabia’s Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh. In their separate statements, they noted that the passing of Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh is a moment of grief not only for Saudi Arabia but for the entire Muslim Ummah.
According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari highlighted that Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh’s religious services and scholarly guidance will always be remembered. Prime Minister Sharif emphasized that the late Sheikh was a revered and eminent Islamic scholar whose efforts for the unity of the Muslim world and his scholarly wisdom will always be remembered.
Both leaders extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and the people of Saudi Arabia, and they prayed for the departed soul.
