Lahore: Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has assented twelve bills including Punjab Prohibition of Kite Flying (Amendment) Bill 2025 which will come into effect immediately.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Punjab Assembly had earlier approved the bill seeking a comprehensive ban on kite flying, accompanied by stringent penalties for those who violate the law.
