Punjab government has decided to impose health emergency in Rawalpindi district due to rising dengue cases.This was decided during a meeting of Cabinet Committee on Dengue Prevention chaired by Provincial Minister for Specialized Healthcare Khawaja Salman Rafique in Lahore today.Secretary of Primary Health Nadia Saqib and Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi gave a detailed briefing to the meeting.The meeting was informed that in response to the increase in cases, twenty-nine private hospitals in Rawalpindi have been designated as alternative arrangements.Source: Radio Pakistan
