Renowned Comedian Javed Kodu Passes Away in Lahore


Lahore: Renowned television and stage comedian Javed Kodu passed away in Lahore last night after a protracted illness. He has been laid to rest at Singhpura Graveyard in Lahore.



According to Radio Pakistan, Javed Kodu was celebrated for his roles in famous television plays such as Khawahish, Ainak Wala Jinn, and Aashiana. His unique presence on stage and screen left a lasting impression on audiences across the country.



Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of the renowned artist. In his condolence message, the Prime Minister prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and extended his sympathies to the bereaved family. He remarked that Javed Kodu was distinguished for his short height and towering talent.



The Prime Minister further stated that Javed Kodu’s demise has left a void in the media industry that can never be filled.
