Islamabad: Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Nurlan Yermekbayev, along with a delegation of senior officials, is visiting Pakistan for a two-day engagement starting today. This visit is at the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar.
According to Radio Pakistan, during his visit, the Secretary General will hold meetings with the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Commerce, and the Foreign Secretary. Additionally, Yermekbayev is scheduled to address the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad and interact with business leaders, entrepreneurs, and media representatives.
The visit presents an opportunity for Pakistan to engage with the SCO Secretariat, focusing on enhancing shared regional security and economic objectives.
