Skardu: The Special Communications Organization (SCO) has established a freelancing hub, equipped with the latest facilities in the Talu area of Skardu district for the young boys and girls of Gilgit-Baltistan. The aim of establishing IT hubs is to provide an online business platform to the youth of these areas with limited employment resources.
According to Radio Pakistan, the initiative will enable the youth to connect with global markets, secure employment opportunities for themselves and their families, and contribute to the development of the country’s economy. The establishment of IT centers and freelancing hubs in the remote areas of Gilgit-Baltistan is part of SCO’s IT Vision 2025.
The youth and elders of the area have appreciated the efforts of the Pakistan Army and SCO in providing modern facilities in the telecommunication and IT sectors in remote areas of Gilgit-Baltistan.
