Serbian professional tennis player Novak Djokovic has won the US Open men’s final with a 24th Grand Slam title by beating Russian player Daniil Medvedev 6-3, 7-6 (7-5), 6-3.

The victory equals Margaret Court’s record Grand Slam haul and Djokovic’s victory capped another remarkable Grand Slam campaign with wins at the Australian, French and US Opens and a return to the top of the world rankings.
