Sierra Leone imposes nationwide curfew amid deadly anti-government protests

In Sierra Leone, Vice President Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh has announced a nationwide curfew amid widespread anti-government protests against rising inflation and economic crises.

Meanwhile, two police officers were killed after a protest against economic hardship descended into clashes between security forces and youth demanding resign from President Julius Maada Bio.

Police said dozens of protestors were also arrested.
