Lower dir: In a significant operation, the Counter Terrorism Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in coordination with local police, successfully neutralized six terrorists in the Talash area of Lower Dir district. The operation, which was intelligence-based, took place on Wednesday.
According to Radio Pakistan, these individuals were sought for their involvement in various terrorist attacks and were in the process of planning further subversive activities in the region. The operation led to the recovery of arms and ammunition, including six Kalashnikov rifles, three hand grenades, and numerous cartridges from the terrorists' possession.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Inspector General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Zulfiqar Hameed have expressed their commendations to the CTD and police forces for the successful execution of this operation, highlighting the efforts taken to ensure the safety and security of the area.
