Lahore: A three-day meeting of the Council of Permanent Representatives of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) began in Lahore on Sunday. ECO Secretary General, Asad Majeed Khan, along with his delegation, is participating in the meeting.
According to Radio Pakistan, upon reaching the venue, a contingent of Punjab Police presented a guard of honor to the delegation. Ambassadors from Iran, Turkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan are included in the delegation.
The ECO delegation’s visit is expected to help promote Lahore’s historical and cultural heritage at the international level.
