Lahore: The three-day celebrations of Punjabi Culture Day, organized by the Punjab Information and Culture Department, commenced on Thursday at the Alhamra Arts Council in Lahore. Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif inaugurated the event, interacting with various folk artists and exploring the vibrant stalls set up for the occasion.
According to Radio Pakistan, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, while addressing the ceremony, expressed her deep connection with the culture of Punjab, stating that it holds a special place in her heart. She emphasized the pride she feels in her Punjabi heritage and acknowledged the efforts of Information Minister Azma Bukhari in organizing the event.
The festivities offer an opportunity for participants to engage with Punjabi traditions, with registration available through the Alhamra website, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
