One terrorist was killed while two others got injured during an intelligence-based operation in Rori, Dera Ismail Khan on Friday.
According to ISPR, the killed terrorist has been identified as Usama, TTP’s suicide bomber, who was planning to carry out a high-profile incident in the area.
In a second operation, conducted in Lakki Marwat, one terrorist was killed while terrorists’ hideouts were busted.
During intense exchange of fire two soldiers Naik Zafar Iqbal and Sepoy Haji Jan embraced Shahadat while fighting gallantly during the operation.
Meanwhile, an Improvised Explosive Device exploded in Kulachi, Dera Ismail Khan which resulted in shahadat of Havildar Shahid Iqbal.
Sanitization operations are being carried out to eliminate any terrorists present in the area as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
