Islamabad: Widespread rain-wind and thundershowers with scattered heavyfall are anticipated in Sindh, South Punjab, and Northeastern/Southern Balochistan over the next twelve hours. Partly cloudy weather with rain-wind and thundershower is also expected at isolated locations in Northeastern Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir. Other parts of the country are expected to experience hot and dry weather.
According to Radio Pakistan, the temperature recorded this morning in major cities included Islamabad and Muzaffarabad at twenty-two degrees centigrade, Lahore at twenty-six, Karachi at twenty-eight, Peshawar at twenty-four, Quetta at twenty-one, Gilgit at twenty-four, and Murree at eleven degrees centigrade.
The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir indicates cloudy weather with chances of rain and wind with thundershowers expected in Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula. Jammu and Leh are expected to experience partly cloudy weather with chances of rain and wind with thundershowers. Morning temperatures recorded were Srinagar, Pulwama, and Shopian at thirteen degrees centigrade, Jammu at twenty-six, Leh at eight, Anantnag at twelve, and Baramula at fourteen degrees centigrade.
