Rain wind-thunderstorm expected in ICT, Punjab, KP, GB & Kashmir

Rain wind-thunderstorm with isolated hailstorm is expected in Islamabad, upper and central Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir during the next twelve hours.

Snowfall over mountains is also expected at few places in upper districts.

Isolated heavy falls are likely to occur in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab and Kashmir during the period.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:

Islamabad and Peshawar sixteen degree centigrade, Lahore seventeen, Karachi twenty-three, Quetta five, Gilgit eleven, Murree and Muzaffarabad twelve degree centigrade.

According to Met office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, cloudy and chances of rain wind-thunderstorm with isolated heavy falls and snow at Srinagar, cloudy and chances of rain wind-thunderstorm with isolated heavy falls at Jammu, cloudy and chances of rain & snow with isolated heavy falls at Leh and cloudy and chances of rain wind-thunderstorm with isolated heavy falls and snowfall over mountains expected in Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramula.

Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag and Baramula six degree centigrade, Jammu sixteen, Leh two and Shopian seven degree centigrade.

Jam Kamal tenders his resignation from post of CM Balochistan

Jam Kamal Khan tendered his resignation from the post of Chief Minister Balochistan.

According to a Spokesman Governor House, the Governor Balochistan Syed Zahoor Ahmed Agha has formally accepted the resignation of Jam Kamal Khan.

Earlier, a no-confidence motion was tabled against him in Balochistan Assembly, from the dissident members of Balochistan Awami Party and Opposition members of the House.

The voting was scheduled to be held tomorrow on the motion.

Polio virus completely eradicated from KP: Bangash

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government says the polio virus has been completely eradicated from all parts of the province, including the recently integrated districts.

This was stated by Special Assistant to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister on Information, Kamran Khan Bangash, while talking to media after a special review meeting regarding World Polio Day, in Peshawar today.

He said no polio case has been reported in the province since July last year which is a clear indication of the success polio eradication campaigns.
