Distribution of Health Cards in Punjab to be completed till March 2022: Yasmin

Punjab Health Minister, Dr Yasmin Rashid says distribution of Health Card would be completed in the province till March 2022 aimed at providing maximum health facilities to people.

Talking to PTV, she said under this entitlement, the head of the family can avail medical treatment of up to one million rupees from more than three hundred private hospitals in the province.

She said government is taking solid steps to improve women’s health.

Talking about the Covid-19 pandemic, she said the vaccination process has been geared up across the province and fifty-two percent of the population has been vaccinated of first dose in the province.

Pakistan will continue to fight Kashmiris’ case at int’l level: Farrukh

Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib, while paying tribute to martyrs of Jammu, has said Pakistan will continue to fight the Kashmiris’ case at international level.

In a statement, he said India committed unprecedented atrocities in Kashmir on November 6, 1947.

He said thousands of Muslims were martyred by Hindu fanatics in connivance of Mahraja Hari Singh.

People suffering today due to faulty policies of previous governments: Omar Ayub

Minister for Economic Affairs, Omar Ayub Khan says Prime Minister Imran Khan is gradually stabilizing the country.

Addressing a public gathering in Mansehra today [Saturday] , he said people are suffering today due to faulty policies of previous governments.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister for Communication Murad Saeed said corrupt leaders in previous regimes looted the national wealth.

He said Prime Minister Imran Khan is the only committed leader who worked for the stability of the country in hard times.

Minister for Railways Azam Swati said Pakistan Tehreek Insaf will again come into power on the basis of its performance. He said the backward areas of the province are being developed on priority basis.

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan said Prime Minister Imran has recently announced one hundred and thirty-five billion rupees relief package for the general public.

He said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has started health card, Kisan card, Education Card and Food Card to provide relief to the people.

On this occasion, he laid foundation stones of a number of developmental projects in the area at a cost of more than four billion rupees.

AJK President briefs PM Imran on his foreign visits to highlight Kashmir cause

Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad today and briefed him on his recent foreign visits to highlight the Kashmir cause.

He apprized the Prime Minister of his successful visit to the United States and Europe to motivate the Pakistani diaspora to highlight the Kashmir issue internationally.

During the meeting, they also discussed matters pertaining to development in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

Fawad urges bar associations to play role for early disposal of cases

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhary Fawad Hussain has asked bar associations to play their role for early disposal of cases in courts.

He was talking to a nine-member delegation of newly elected office bearers of Supreme Court Bar Association in Islamabad.

The Information Minister said the lawyers should provide guidance on national matters and supremacy of law and constitution.

The Information Minister said we will also welcome the role of lawyers and bar associations on important legislation including electoral reforms and NAB ordinance. He said instead of challenging NAB ordinance, reforms should be suggested to the government.

The Information Minister said the government is taking every possible step for the welfare of lawyer’s community.
