Ahsan Iqbal Celebrates US-Iran Peace Agreement as Diplomatic Triumph

Islamabad: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has warmly welcomed the historic peace agreement between the United States and Iran, terming it a major victory for diplomacy, dialogue, and wisdom over conflict and confrontation. In a post on social media platform X today, he congratulated the leadership of both countries for demonstrating statesmanship and choosing the path of peace.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ahsan Iqbal stated that this agreement offers renewed hope for stability, economic recovery, and prosperity across the Middle East and beyond. The Planning Minister highlighted Pakistan's significant role in facilitating dialogue and building trust between the parties. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan consistently advocated for engagement and peaceful resolution of disputes.

He also acknowledged the important contribution of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, whose efforts and support for regional peace reinforced Pakistan's credibility as a trusted facilitator. Ahsan Iqbal emphasized that this achievement reaffirms Pakistan's enduring commitment to peace, dialogue, and regional stability.

He expressed hope that this agreement would mark the beginning of a new chapter of cooperation, harmony, and shared prosperity for the region and the world.
