Aneeq Ahmed calls for immediate cessation of Israeli aggression in Gaza

Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Aneeq Ahmed has expressed deep grief over the martyrdom of four thousand Palestinians in Gaza strip.

Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad today, he called for the immediate cessation of the barbaric aggression of Israel.

The Minister said Muslims including the Organization of Islamic Cooperation are looking with hope towards the International community to help stop the war crimes committed by Israel.

He urged Muslims to arrange protest demonstrations in front the embassies and consulates of Israel worldwide and register their protests in a peaceful manner.

The Minister also impressed upon Muslims to establish unity among them and reject all those anarchist elements that are responsible for fanning sectarianism and division within their ranks.

Chairman Senate to address Int’l Symposium in Beijing on Tuesday

Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani will address the international symposium on strengthening diplomatic ties among neighboring nations being held in China on Tuesday.

He will attend the event as a distinguished chief guest to commemorate the 10th anniversary of China’s Principle of Amity, Sincerity, Mutual Benefit, and Inclusiveness in Neighborhood Diplomacy proposed by President Xi Jinping.

The Senate Chairman’s presence at the symposium will strengthen bonds of friendship, mutual trust, and mutually beneficial cooperation between Pakistan and China.

Besides holding a meeting with his Chinese counterpart, the Chairman Senate will engage in meetings with the heads of various Chinese state-owned companies, including those in the mining sector.

This symposium promises to be a momentous occasion for advancing diplomatic relations, and Chairman Senate’s involvement is a testament to the commitment of Pakistan to further strengthen its ties with China.

Urs of Great Sufi Saint Hazrat Khawja Ghulam Farid RA begins in Kot Mithan

A three-day 126th annual urs of Great Sufi Saint Hazrat Khawja Ghulam Farid RA began in Kot Mithan, district Rajan Pur today.

Director General Auqaf Punjab Asif Ali Farrukh, Deputy Commissioner Rajan Pur Dr.Mansoor Ahmad Balouch and family members of caretaker family inaugurated the urs celebration with performing the ablution of the mausoleum and offering the wreath ceremony.

Prayers were offered for the Peace, development, prosperity of the country and independence of Kashmir and Palestine.

Mahafils of waaz, naat, qirat and samaa will be held during the three days urs.

Mohsin directs to expedite construction of Rawalpindi Ring Road Project

Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has directed authorities concerned to expedite the construction of Rawalpindi Ring Road Project by hiring the additional workforce.

He gave these directions during his visit to the site of Khalsa Khorad Adiala Interchange last night.

He asked to bring more machinery and dumpers in order to accelerate the earth work and further directed NESPAK to complete the drawing work of the project on fast track basis.

Later, the Chief Minister was briefed about the project by FWO officials.

It is pertinent to mention that Rawalpindi Ring Road Project consists of six-lane with 38.3 kilometer long highway.

Education Ecosystem to bring positive change in Balochistan: CM Domki

Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki has said that Education Ecosystem will bring about a positive change in education system.

He said during a high level briefing on Balochistan Digital Roadmap, 2030 in Quetta on Saturday.

He directed to take steps to establish database and its ownership at Provincial level.

The Chief Minister said work is underway for promotion of Information Technology Industry in the province.
