Government has reduced prices of petroleum products for the next fortnight.
In a statement, the Finance Ministry said the price of petrol has been cut by eight rupees per litre and high speed diesel by eleven rupees per litre.
Accordingly, petrol would be now available at 323.38 rupees per liter and high speed diesel at 318.18 rupees per litre from today.
The government’s decision to provide relief to people by reducing the prices of petroleum products has been appreciated by people across the country.
Expressing pleasure on the caretaker government’s decision they said that it will provide relief to the poor segments of the society.
They said the efforts if the caretaker government and Chief of the Army Staff will result in further decrease in inflation. They expressed hope that the fuel prices will further be reduced.
