Birmingham: In the ICC Women's T20 World Cup, India defeated Pakistan by 64 runs in Birmingham tonight.

According to Radio Pakistan, India Women set a target of 170 runs for Pakistan after opting to bat first, having won the toss. The Indian team lost six wickets in their allotted 20 overs, with Smriti Mandhana contributing 68 runs and Harmanpreet Kaur adding 36 runs to the scoreboard. On the bowling front for Pakistan, Sadia Iqbal and Fatima Sana each took two wickets.

In response, Pakistan Women managed to score 106 runs before being all out in 17 overs. Muneeba Ali emerged as the top scorer for Pakistan with 41 runs. India's Deepti Sharma delivered an impressive performance, claiming five wickets, and was named Player of the Match.
