Pakistan’s Economy Shows Significant Improvement in First 2 Months of FY 2026-27

Islamabad: Pakistan's economy has shown significant improvement in the first two months of the current financial year. The current account deficit fell by seventy percent in August to just ninety-eight million dollars, while the deficit for the first two months declined by thirty-six percent.According to Radio Pakistan, the registration of new companies in the country increased by forty-five percent, bringing the total number of registered companies to three hundred and twelve thousand. Services exports rose by twenty-nine percent, IT exports by seventeen percent, and freelancers' earnings increased by forty-two percent.
