The Islamabad High Court has ordered the Election Commission of Pakistan to hold local bodies’ polls in the federal capital on Saturday.
IHC Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir pronounced the short order, suspending ECP’s notification regarding postponement of the local government elections in the Islamabad Capital Territory.
The court ordered to hold local government elections in Islamabad as per previous schedule.
