Islamabad: The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MoIB) has declared a notification circulating on social media regarding the temporary closure of Pakistani ports as fake.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Ministry's Fact Checker has identified the notification as false. The circulating message falsely claims that the Cabinet Division has ordered the temporary suspension of all port entries in Pakistan due to the security situation until Tuesday.
The Fact Checker has confirmed that the notification is fabricated and clarified that no such order has been issued by the Cabinet Division or the Ministry of Maritime Affairs.
