Naqvi Reaffirms Support for Lasting Peace in Balochistan

Quetta: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has stated that the federal government will continue to extend every possible support to ensure sustainable peace in Balochistan. He made this declaration while co-chairing a meeting with Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti in Quetta today.

According to Radio Pakistan, Naqvi emphasized the importance of modern technology, enhanced intelligence capabilities, and a coordinated operational approach in the fight against terrorism. He highlighted the unity and coordination between the federal and provincial governments as they work towards establishing lasting peace in the region.

Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti reaffirmed the provincial government's commitment to outpace terrorist elements on every front. He declared that no external pressure would deter their campaign against terrorism, emphasizing that the state's authority would be enforced at all costs, leaving no space for terrorists in Balochistan.

Bugti further stated that with the federal government's continued support, the implementation of peace initiatives and development projects across Balochistan would be expedited. He provided a detailed briefing on the current security situation in the province, the ongoing counterterrorism measures, and the future strategy to maintain peace and stability.
