Pakistan: Pakistan has welcomed the positive developments under the Board of Peace towards the implementation of the Gaza Peace Plan.
According to Radio Pakistan, Foreign Office Spokesperson Tahir Andrabi expressed appreciation for the mediating countries, including the United States of America, Egypt, Qatar, and Trkiye, for their sustained efforts. He conveyed expectations that these developments will lead to the full implementation of all commitments under the Gaza Peace Plan.
Andrabi emphasized Pakistan's trust that these efforts will advance the inalienable right of the Palestinian people to self-determination through a credible, time-bound political process. This process should align with international law, international legitimacy, and relevant United Nations resolutions.
He further stressed that the ultimate goal of this process should be the establishment of an independent, sovereign, contiguous, and viable State of Palestine. The envisioned state would be based on the pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
