President Dr Arif Alvi has accepted resignation of Governor Gilgit Baltistan, Raja Jalal Hussain Maqpoon.
According to a press release issued by the President Secretariat today [Saturday], the President also appointed Speaker of Gilgit Baltistan Assembly Syed Amjad Ali as Acting Governor till appointment of a new Governor.
