President Dr Arif Alvi has stressed for preparation of IT professionals skilled with modern education to meet market need. He was addressing a seminar titled “Pak-UK Education Gateway-Achievements and Further Aspirations” in Islamabad today [Wednesday].
The President welcomed the mutual cooperation between Pakistan and the UK in education and health sectors. Dr Arif Alvi appreciated role played by British Council in promoting education in Pakistan. Earlier, addressing the occasion, Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood said the government is working vigilantly on education sector and over 123 billion rupees allocated for high education by HEC.
