State Will Enforce Law Against Anti-State Violence Says Asif

Islamabad: Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has stated that the state is prepared to enforce the law with full authority against anyone attempting to push an anti-state agenda through violence. Asif emphasized that such actions, which fall outside the legal framework, will be met with strict enforcement measures.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister expressed these views in a post on X, highlighting the state's commitment to ensuring that the people of Kashmir can freely express their opinions. He underscored the importance of addressing contentious issues through democratic means, particularly as the country approaches elections.

Asif further criticized those who resort to violence and bloodshed to impose their ideology, suggesting that their motives are not aligned with democratic objectives. He pointed out that the recent martyrdom and desecration of police and security personnel indicate a refusal by certain elements to engage in the democratic process through elections.
