Interior Minister visits residence of martyred Brigadier Khalid in Faisalabad

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan visited the residence of martyred Brigadier Muhammad Khalid in Faisalabad and expressed grief and sorrow over the helicopter crash.

He also offered fateha and paid homage to the martyred Brigadier Khalid. He termed his martyrdom a great loss for the country and people of Pakistan.

Speaking on this occasion, Rana Sanaullah said that there is a dire need for forging unity among our ranks.

He said that all the army personnel who martyred in the helicopter crash were an asset of the Pakistan and pride of the nation.

Diamond jubilee celebrations of First Constituent Assembly begins from Wednesday

The five-day diamond jubilee celebrations to commemorate the first constituent assembly of Pakistan will start from Wednesday in Parliament House, Islamabad.

An elaborate plan of events has been prepared by the National Assembly Secretariat to commemorate the event in a befitting manner.

10th August carries a unique significance in the Parliamentary history of Pakistan since the Inaugural Session of the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan was held on those days before the transfer of power from the British rule to newly independent Pakistan from 11th August to 14th August 1947.

The theme of the celebration is “Mera- Parliman-Rahbar-i-Taraqqi-o-Kamal”.
