In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference leaders have said the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs will not be allowed to go waste and the ongoing freedom movement will be taken to its logical conclusion at all costs.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the leaders were addressing the mourners in Bachpura area of Srinagar at the residence of martyred APHC leader, Altaf Ahmad Shah, who died in Indian captivity on Monday night. They maintained that the Kashmiri martyrs have nourished the ongoing freedom movement with their blood and India has failed to suppress it despite exhausting all its resources and applying every brutal tactic.

The leaders including Abdul Ahad Para, Bilal Ahmad Siddiqui, Shabbir Ahmad Dar and Khawaja Firdous visited Bachpura and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.

Meanwhile, the funeral prayer in absentia for the martyred Altaf Ahmed Shah was offered in New Delhi’s infamous Tihar jail where he remained illegally detained since July 2017 till his shifting to a hospital last week.

APHC Chairman Masarrat Aalam Butt and other incarcerated Hurriyat leaders including Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Nayeem Ahmad Khan and a large number of other prisoners attended the funeral prayer.

They paid rich tribute to the martyred leader for his contribution and sacrifices in the ongoing freedom struggle.

A report released by Kashmir Media Service, today, said, India’s Hindutva government led by fascist Narendra Modi is systematically paving the way for settler colonialism in occupied Jammu and Kashmir by introducing new laws one after another following illegal and unilateral abrogation of the territory’s special status on 5th August 2019.

It pointed out that colonization of IIOJK has been a long-pending dream of RSS and BJP, adding that inclusion of non-Kashmiri Hindus in the voter list is yet another step to advance Hindutva government’s dangerous game plan in the occupied territory.

The report maintained that the RSS-backed Hindutva regime’s colonial measures in IIOJK are clear violations of the UN resolutions.

On the other hand, an unnamed police officer in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh in a viral video was caught inciting a charged Hindu crowd to send all Muslims to graves and bulldoze their houses on the allegation of distrusting a Hindu religious rally.

The cop was addressing the Hindu rally after clashes erupted between Hindus and Muslims in Sultanpur area of the state when the Muslim group asked the participants of the rally to lower the tone of music during Azan.

The police on the occasion also sided with the Hindu groups and unleashed a brutal crackdown on the Muslims.
