Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari says Pakistan is playing important role for regional peace and stability.
In an interview with an Indonesian television, he said Pakistan wants relations with all countries based on mutual respect.
Responding to a question, Bilawal Bhutto Zaradri said Pakistan is desirous of a peaceful and prosperous Afghanistan, which is inevitable for peace and stability of the whole region.
He said Pakistan believes in promoting democracy.
About Pak-Indonesia ties, the Foreign Minister said the two countries need to enhance their bilateral ties in all fields and explore the vast trade potential between them.
He said Pakistan and Indonesia can also coordinate to cope with rising Islamophobia and in dealing with extremism.
