Shehbaz Sharif enjoys confidence of allied parties: Hanif Abbasi


PML (N) leader Hanif Abbasi has said their candidate for the slot of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif enjoys the confidence of allied parties.

Addressing a news conference along with the PPP and MQM leaders at the Parliament House in Islamabad today, he said they enjoy the majority of the house. He said giving relief to the masses is our priority.

PPP leader Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani emphasized the importance of sitting together to address the problems faced by the country.

MQM’s leader Amin-ul-Haque said the parliament is the forum to address the problems of people.

Punjab CM takes action on Ahmad Raza’s appeal


Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has taken immediate action on social media appeal by a twenty year special young man Ahmad Raza of Fort Abbas.

Under her special direction, Deputy Speaker of Punjab Assembly, Malik Zaheer Iqbal Channar visited the young man’s home and presented gifts including electric wheel chair on Chief Minister’s behalf.

During the visit, the Chief Minister talked to the young man on video call and promised to provide job to him. She also gave him personal mobile number for contact in case of any difficulty.

Pak Army, rescue teams complete rescue operation in Muzaffarabad


Pakistan Army and rescue teams have completed the rescue operation in Muzaffarabad successfully.

According to the details, a cable car connecting the two villages broke down while crossing the river in a suburb of Muzaffarabad.

The services of the cable car were suspended due to the breakdown of the cable car.

While maintaining the tradition of helping in every difficult hour, Pakistan Army rescued the stranded persons and also completed the repair work of the broken rope.

Effective steps to be taken for protection of wildlife in Punjab: CM


Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that comprehensive and effective measures will be taken for protection of wildlife in the province.

In a message on the World Wildlife Day, she said that the Punjab Government will take all possible measure to ensure environmental balance, while understanding the importance of bio-diversity.

The Chief Minister said that protection of wild Sheep of Salt Range, Talwar of Cholistan and Dolphins in province is our top priority.

Rain-related incidents claim 27 lives in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa


Twenty seven people have died in rain-caused incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the last four days.

According to Provincial Disaster Management Authority Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, thirty-three houses were completely damaged while one-hundred and twenty-nine houses partially damaged due to heavy rains across the province.

The worst rain-affected districts include Malakand, Bajaur, Peshawar, Khyber, Swat, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Mardan, Lower Dir and Charsadda.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur has directed the concerned authorities to distribute relief goods and financial assistance among the rain affected people.
