Selection of Moavineen-e-Hujjaj via NTS ensures transparency: Aneeq


Caretaker Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Aneeq Ahmed has said the selection of Moavineen-e-Hujjaj is being conducted for the first time through the National Testing Service transparently.

During his visit to the NTS center in Islamabad, he inspected the test for the selection of Moavineen-e-Hujjaj and Hajj Medical Mission personnel for Hajj 2024.

Emphasizing the significance of this development, he said, last year, there were 794 Hajj assistants, while this year, the number stands at 625. Besides; 540 doctors are deputed for Hajj duty.

CM Punjab pays surprise visit to Govt Girls Pilot Secondary School in Lahore


Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif paid an surprise visit to Government Polit Secondary High School Wahdat Road in Lahore today.

During her visit, the Chief Minister examined the library, biology laboratory, sports room.

She also visited stadium in the school and directed to improve it.

Maryam Nawaz also toured the examination centers for the class 10 board exams and visited classrooms in the 8th-grade sections.

She engaged with the students, inquired about issues and necessities within the school.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif sat with young student Noor Fatima, conversing with her at her desk.

CM KP visits residence of Shaheed SP Ijaz Khan in district Charsadda


Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur today visited residence of Shaheed SP Ijaz Khan in district Charsadda who was martyred a few days back in an encounter with terrorists in Mardan.

He expressed his condolences and heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family.

The Chief Minister assured all possible support from the provincial government.

He said that the family of the martyred SP Ijaz Khan will be given all privileges under the Shaheed package.

The Chief Minister said that the provincial government and the people of the province stand with the police and security forces.

CM announces establishment of first public cancer hospital in Punjab


Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced the establishment of the first public cancer hospital in the province.

She made this announcement while reviewing the proposed site of the first public cancer hospital near Valencia Town in Lahore today.

On the occasion, the Punjab Chief Minister was briefed about the proposed site of the cancer hospital.

Speaking on this occasion, the Punjab Chief Minister said that the Punjab government will bring in the best doctors and the latest machinery for treating patients at the cancer hospital.
