PM lauds efforts of state institutions for controlling Cholera epidemic in Dera Bugti

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the government is cognizant of the deprivation of the people of Balochistan and taking practical steps on priority basis to remove them.

He was talking to Minister for Anti-Narcotics, Nawabzada Shahzain Bugti, who called on him in Islamabad.

During the meeting, the Minister apprised the prime Minister about the details of operations to control Cholera epidemic in Pir Koh area of Dera Bugti and appreciated the Prime Minister’s interest in the issue and extending immediate assistance to the victims of this epidemic.

The Prime Minister directed to ensure provision of clean drinking to the local people and evolve a comprehensive strategy for prevention of any such incident in future.

He also lauded the efforts of the federal and the provincial institutions specially doctors and paramedical staff for controlling the Cholera epidemic in the area.

Govt to form inquiry commission to probe foreign conspiracy: Info Minister

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said the government has decided to constitute an inquiry commission to investigate into the foreign conspiracy drama staged by former Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad today [Thursday], she said this will be an impartial and independent commission, and its findings will be put before the masses so that they could see for themselves as to which person has hurt the interests of the country.

The Minister for Information said that the TORs of the inquiry commission will be finalized in the next cabinet meeting. He said the head of this commission would be a person of credibility on whom nobody could raise a finger.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said this drama of allegations should come to an end. She said those who are hurling allegations of foreign conspiracy will have to face the law after the findings of the inquiry commission.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the former Prime Minister has also given a schedule of public meetings in order to protect the corruption of his front person Farah Gogi.

The Information Minister said that the people are bearing the brunt of the incompetence and loot of the last government. She said the PTI government destroyed the economy and left behind the landmines.

The Minister said the present government under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is striving hard to provide relief to the people. She said inflation will be decreased and prices of essential items be brought down.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said the government is also determined to protect freedom of expression, which had become obscure in last government.

COAS pays tribute to all martyrs for contributions in peaceful Pakistan

Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwaspent Eid today with troops in Dungi area of Kotli along the Line of Control.

He offered Eid prayers with troops.

Special Prayers were made for security, peace and stability of Pakistan.

General Bajwa also shared Eid festivities with officers and men. He paid tribute to all martyrs and their families for their contributions for peaceful Pakistan.

Corps Commander Lt Gen Sahir Shamshad Mirza received the Army Chief on arrival at Dungi.

Talking to media in Faisalabad today [Tuesday], he said that the government has neither registered any case nor it has asked any one to become who hurt their religious sentiments by chanting slogans in Masjid-e-Nabvi (PBUH).a complanant against those who violated the sanctity holy places.

He said the present government is not creating hurdles in implementation of development projects started by the previous government but it will resume work on all the development projects for the sake of progressive Pakistan.
