Punjab Govt successfully handled corona pandemic: Chohan

Punjab Government Spokesperson Fayyazul Hassan Chohan says our government has successfully handled corona pandemic.

Addressing a news conference in Rawalpindi today, he said world has acknowledged Punjab’s performance in stopping the spread of virus.

He said cases against the corrupt elements will be taken to logical conclusion.

GB govt orders strict implementation of Covid SOPs

The Gilgit Baltistan government has decided to ensure implementation of COVID SOPs strictly to get rid of Coronavirus.

Notification in this regard was issued by Home department Gilgit Baltistan today (Tuesday).

According to notification, there will be ban on business activity in Gilgit and Skardu, two days and in other districts one day in a week.

Business activities will continue in both districts till 8 pm whilst in other districts till 10 pm.

There will be ban on indoor dining while outdoor dining will be allowed till 10 pm.

Fifty percent attendance in offices and fifty percent passengers in public transport would be allowed. The Government also decided to allow vaccinated tourists to GB.

Sindh Govt to initiate Covid-19 vaccination drive in all educational institutions

Sindh government has announced to carry out Covid-19 vaccination drive in all the public and private schools and colleges from 6th of next month.

It was decided in a high-level meeting held in Karachi.

The meeting decided that the health department’s 2,527 teams would participate in the vaccination drive against the Corona pandemic.

In the first phase, the vaccine campaign would commence at the district level which would later be extended to a sub-division level.

Twenty-fourth death anniversary of Princess of Wales Lady Diana was observed on Tuesday.

She died in a car crash in Paris at the age of 36.
