Punjab Govt to modernize hospital in Rakhni, Balochistan: CM Buzdar

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar says the government will ensure transparency and quality in the projects related to the development of health centres and hospitals in remote areas.

He was chairing a high level meeting to review the progress of development projects of the health sector in Lahore today [Wednesday].

The Chief Minister said that the Punjab government will modernize hospital in Rakhni district of Balochistan.

KP govt decides to speed up coronavirus vaccination campaign

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to speed up coronavirus vaccination campaign in cattle markets and other public places of the province.

The provincial Local Government Department has issued directives to all the relevant authorities in this regard.

Meanwhile, the Health Department has also decided to provide cold stores to all the vaccination centres across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

On the other hand, actions against non-compliance of corona vaccination are also underway in various area of the province.

PM launches Micro Health Insurance Programme in Peshawar

Prime Minister Imran Khan launched the Micro Health Insurance Programme in Peshawar today [Wednesday].

Under the Kamyab Pakistan Programme, the micro health insurance will provide free medical services worth rupees up to one million annually to 7.5 million families in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He also attended the registration ceremony of Ehsaas Ration Discount Programme in Peshawar where Special Assistant for Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection Dr. Sania Nishtar gave a detailed briefing.

The Ehsaas Ration Discount Programme will provide groceries to about twenty million families making up to 130 million people, belonging to the economically weaker sections.

Later, the Prime Minister distributed cheques under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s programme of financial assistance to Imams of Jamia mosques.

Covid 19: Crackdown against unvaccinated people continues across the country

In Punjab, significant decline is being witnessed in the coronavirus cases across the province.

This was stated by Secretary Primary and Secondary Health Care Punjab Imran Sikandar Baloch in a statement today [Monday].

He said special SOPs have been issued for the various sectors to bring further decrease in the Corona cases.

Imran Sikandar urged the citizens to adopt precautionary measures against corona and said that vaccination is the only effective treatment against coronavirus.

In Sindh, provincial Health Minister Dr Azra Fazal has said that there is need to take effective measures to save people from new variant of Corona Omicron.

She was addressing in a news conference in Karachi today.

She said that provincial government has also decided to start booster dose free of cost across the province.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a crackdown against unvaccinated people across the province is underway.

The teams of district administration Peshawar visited various educational institutions and BRT stations to review corona vaccination campaigns.

Similarly, the teams led by Assistant Commissioners also visited various bus terminals in Provincial Capital and checked Corona certificates of passengers on the occasion.

In Dera Ismail Khan, the Assistant Commissioner visited transport Addas and reviewed the ongoing corona vaccination campaign.

In District Khyber, the teams of the health department visited Landikotal bazar and checked corona vaccination certificate of people and shopkeeper.

Vaccination process against COVID-19 and action against non-vaccinated people is in full swing in Balochistan.

Actions against Covid19 unvaccinated people underway in KP

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, actions against unvaccinated people across the province are underway.

The teams of district administration Peshawar today [Sunday] visited various markets and marriage halls and bus stations including BRT stations and checked corona vaccination Certificates.

Notices were issued to owners of marriage halls and shopkeepers on giving services to unvaccinated people.

Similar actions against violators of Covid SOPs were also carried out in Mardan, Abbottabad, Nowshera and other parts of the province.

Drive against unvaccinated people accelerated to overcome coronavirus in Sindh

In Sindh, administration of the provincial government has accelerated drive against unvaccinated people to overcome coronavirus in the province.

Talking to our Radio Pakistan Karachi correspondent, Deputy Commissioner East Asif Jan said that all the assistant commissioners have been tasked to restrict the entry of non vaccinated persons in any restaurant and hotel.

He said that vaccination is being carried out through mobile vaccination teams, fixed centers and drive thru.

Replying to a question, Asif Jan said that they are near to cover around 100 percent of the population of district East of Karachi as for as vaccination is concerned.

He said that chief secretary Sindh also directed all the deputy commissioners to accelerate the vaccine drive.
