Islamabad: The Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet has approved measures involving 11.6 billion rupees.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Committee, which met in Islamabad, approved 6.6 billion rupees for the purchase of 30 bullet-proof vehicles to be used during the SCO Summit for the movement of Heads of State. The Summit will be hosted by Pakistan in September 2027.
The ECC also allowed the provision of five billion rupees as seed money for the Daanish Schools Authority Fund.
The Committee further approved recommendations regarding the export of donkey meat and hides from the Gwadar Free Zone, subject to necessary safeguards.
Additionally, the ECC allowed the continuation of gas supply to Fatima Fertilizer and Agritech Limited till the 30th of this month under the existing arrangement.
