Saudi Authorities Direct Immediate Commencement of Hajj 2027 Preparations

Madinah: The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has announced that preparations for Hajj 2027 will begin immediately in line with directives issued by Saudi authorities. This announcement was made by the Ministry's spokesperson, Muhammad Umar Butt, during a conversation with Radio Pakistan's correspondent, Asad Ullah Khan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the spokesperson stated that mandatory registration for Hajj 2027 is set to commence later this month. Muhammad Umar Butt emphasized the importance for intending pilgrims to ensure their Pakistani passports are ready at the earliest. A valid passport with an expiry date until at least 16 November 2027 is a key requirement.

Registration is mandatory for overseas Pakistanis who wish to perform Hajj under Pakistan's quota. After registration, applicants will have the option to choose between the government Hajj scheme or a private Hajj tour operator. The spokesperson clarified that the final Hajj package cost, installment schedule, and terms and conditions will be announced later, following the Hajj Policy 2027.
