Provincial Local Government Minister Akbar Ayub Khan expressed satisfaction over the ongoing Covid vaccination in the province.

In a statement in Peshawar, he said more than fifty percent staff of the local government department got vaccinated from Covid-19.

The minister expressed pleasure over seriousness and importance among the public about Covid vaccine.

CM directs to immediately take over 4,192 schools of non-formal education system

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has directed the education department to immediately take over 4,192 schools of non-formal education system, in line with the decision taken in the 42nd meeting of Council of Common Interest.

Presiding over a meeting in Karachi, he also directed to increase the salaries of teachers from 8000 to 25,000 rupees.

He also directed education department to take over the schools immediately and make the schools functional with the same teaching staff.

Sindh minsiter for education Saeed Ghani informed the meeting that these school and centers are being run under a non-formal education system where teachers are teaching on a voluntary basis.

Paramilitary force taking steps to improve law, order situation in Karachi: DG Rangers

Director General Pakistan Rangers Sindh Major General Iftikhar Hassan Chaudhry has said that the paramilitary force is taking every possible step to further improve the law and order situation in Karachi.

He was speaking at the `Professional leadership summit 2021` organized by Mass Human Resources Services in Karachi.

The DG said that positive outcome of Karachi operation has increased the confidence of local and foreign investors.

He said that restoration of peace in the metropolis was the result of cooperation of people and efforts and sacrifices of all law enforcement institutions.

Federal Minister for Privatization, Governor Balochistan discuss political situation

Federal Minister for Privatization Muhammad Mian Soomro called on Governor Balochistan Amanullah Khan Yasinzai in Quetta on Friday.

They discussed the overall political situation of the country and province, opportunities of investment in Balochistan, and issues of privatization.

On this occasion, the Governor Balochistan has said that Balochistan has vast opportunities of investment for national and foreign investors.

Both the leaders agreed to take further steps to develop cordial relations between provinces and federation.
