CS Balochistan directs to ensure provision of clean drinking water in Gwadar

Chief Secretary Balochistan Mathar Niyaz Rana chaired a high level meeting regarding provision of water and other issues in District Gwadar today (Sunday).

The Chief Secretary directed participants of the meeting to ensure provision of clean drinking water immediately in Gwadar.

He directed to ensure supply of two lakh gallon water per day from Gwadar Port Water Plant.

The Chief Secretary also approved the release of funds to ensure provision of water in Gwadar.

Iran hands over 182 illegal migrants to Pakistan

Iranian authorities handed over 182 Pakistani migrants to local administration at Taftan border in Chagai district today (Sunday).

According official sources, these people were arrested in different parts of Iran for not having valid traveling documents.

Protest rally against Indian atrocities, military siege in IIOJK taken out in Muzaffarabad

A protest rally against Indian atrocities and military siege in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir was taken out in Muzaffarabad today (Sundy).

The rally was organized by Pasbaan-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir.

The participants of rally carrying banners and placards chanted anti-Indian and pro-freedom slogans.

Addressing the rally, Chairman of Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir Uzair Ahmed Ghazali and other speakers demanded the international community to use its influence and end military siege in IIOJK.

AJK Election Commission issues final list of contesting candidates for upcoming general elections

Azad Jammu and Kashmir Election Commission has issued a final list of contesting candidates for the upcoming general elections of forty five legislative Assembly general seats which was going to be held on 25th of this month.

According to final list, a total of seven hundred one candidates are contesting election for forty five general seats and one hundred twenty two candidates for twelve refugee constituencies comprising in four provinces of Pakistan.

Govt committed to promote tourism, sports in Gilgit Baltistan: CM GB

Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan Muhammad Khalid Khorsheed says Government is committed to the promotion of tourism and sports in the territory.

Talking to a group of mountaineers in Islamabad he said the Government will extend support to mountaineers and arrange foreign training courses for them.

He said a camp office is being set up in Islamabad to address problems being confronted by mountaineers and tourists.

The mountaineer team led by Taqi Hoshay will leave for scaling K2 on Thursday.

Khalid Khorsheed, expressing his best wishes, handed over Pakistani flag to them.
