Exports of information technology sector crossed $2.25b mark: Amin-ul- Haque

Minister for Information Technology Amin-ul- Haque says exports of information technology sector have crossed two point two-five billion dollars.

Addressing a ceremony in Lahore on Monday, he said all facilities are being provided for start-ups in the country.

Amin-ul- Haque said that the Ministry of Information Technology is taking effective measures to persuade various local and foreign companies for start-ups in Pakistan. He informed that a five percent increase has been witnessed for investment in start-ups.

PM directs strict implementation of official flour prices

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed the concerned authorities to take strict measures to bring the price of flour as per government announced rates across the country.

Taking serious notice of flour prices in the country, he directed Ministries of Food Security, Industrial Production and other concerned departments to submit report on implementation of orders on Monday.

Govt declares high alert against Monkeypox

The government has issued special instructions to all national and provincial health authorities to remain on high alert for any suspected case of Monkeypox.

According to an official of the Ministry of National Health Services, the situation is being closely monitored by the health authorities.

The official said the information circulating on social media about the Monkeypox case in Pakistan is incorrect.

He said as per reports of the National Institute of Health, no case of Monkeypox has yet been diagnosed in Pakistan so far.
