UAE experts visits Pakistan to accelerate economic cooperation

A delegation of UAE’s economic experts is undertaking a visit to Pakistan to implement the decisions taken by leadership of both the countries at a recent meeting in Abu Dhabi.

In her tweets today [Monday], Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb said the UAE’s delegation will meet with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore tomorrow [Tuesday] and discuss proposals to accelerate economic cooperation between the two countries. It will dilate upon ways and means to promote trade and investment relations.

The delegation will be apprised of Pakistan’s investment policy and environment.

The deliberations will also focus on cooperation in the areas of energy and petroleum industry.

Pakistan, Saudi Arabia to discuss extending term of $3b loan

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia on Sunday said they would discuss extending the terms of a $3 billion loan to help Islamabad’s faltering economy. The Gulf nation has long been an intelligence partner of Pakistan as well as a regular source of financial relief for successive governments. Railways Minister orders to provide all possible facilities to passengers at stations

Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique has directed that all possible measures should be taken for the convenience of passengers at the stations.

In a statement, he stressed that no compromise should be made on the cleanliness of railway stations and in this regard, there should be satisfactory cleaning arrangements in trains also.

He also directed all Divisional Superintendents to ensure uninterrupted supply of water in the washrooms of passenger trains during Eid days.

LPG Prices reduced by Rs14 per kilogram

Prices of LPG have been reduced by 14 rupees per kilogram. Now rate of the domestic cylinder has been reduced by 169 rupees, whereas commercial cylinder decreased by 650 rupees.

The price of LPG has reduced from 217 per kg to 203 rupees, domestic cylinder from 2559 to 2390 and commercial cylinder from 9847 to 9197 rupees.

The production cost of LPG has been decreased by 12234 per metric ton, slashing the prices from 145711 rupees per MT to 133476 per MT.

Ashrafi condemns unpleasant incident at Masjid Nabawi (SAWW)

Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council Maulana Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi has condemned the derogatory remarks passed against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his delegation at Masjid-e-Nabvi (SAWW).

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad today [Sunday], he said what happened at Masjid-e-Nabvi (SAWW) is against the preaching of Islam. He said it was a planned act.

He said misbehaving Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb and Minister for Narcotics Control Nawabzada Shahzen Bugti cannot be justified.

He said statements of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and PTI leaders have hurt emotions.
